The Faculty of Science, AKI’s Women’s College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Thane, organized a Skill Development Hands-on One-Day Workshop on Oyster Mushroom Cultivation on 06 December 2025. The workshop was attended by 44 participants and began with an inaugural session followed by a live demonstration on substrate preparation, sterilization, bed preparation, incubation, and harvesting.
Participants received mushroom cultivation kits and performed hands-on practical work under expert guidance. The programme concluded with certificate distribution. The workshop was interactive, skill-oriented, and provided valuable practical exposure to the students.
